Building Your Business
RBS Support for Non for Profit Organisations

7 April 2014

RBS is to continue with its support for Inspiring Women in Enterprise throughout 2014.  We have funding available to assist organisations that encourage and support more women to explore enterprise and unlock their potential.  If your organisation has ideas, programmes or projects that work with potential female entrepreneurs, then perhaps RBS can help.
We are looking for UK based not-for-profit organisations that share our desire to boost the number of women that have the skills and knowledge to establish their own businesses.  Funding of up to £50,000 will be awarded to organisations who run programmes that will help women gain the skills and confidence to start out on their enterprise journey.
If your organisation can deliver initiatives like this, then RBS want to hear from you. We are looking to support programmes that will help women learn about, or start-up in business, for example, delivering enterprise education, innovative networking events or developing entrepreneurial knowledge.
Applying for a grant is straightforward through the Inspiring Enterprise website.  The application window is open from Monday 7th April, and will close at noon on Thursday 17th April. Full eligibility criteria is available on the website. Across two funding rounds in 2014, we will be making a total of £500,000 of grants available to support organisations which will help women to start up and succeed in business. Over the previous funding rounds, we have supported over thirty organisations who have in turn inspired thousands of women to embark on their entrepreneurial journey.
