PLATO EBR has groups operatinal in Dundalk, Monaghan, Drogheda, Meath, Craigavon, Banbridge, South Monaghan, Newry and Mourne, Armagh and Ards & North Down.

The Ards & North Down Group commenced this week in Bangor, welcoming thirteen companies from diverse industry sectors to the PLATO EBR Programme. The companies are from a diverse range of industry sectors including professional services, health and safety, engineering (sports car manufacturing), digital media and hospitality, publishing and sports and leisure. The programme offers owner managers a business support forum where they can network and discuss business ideas with peers and established large ‘parent’ companies in the region. These ‘parent’ companies are leaders in their industry sectors, and support the programme by sharing their skills and experience within the network.  PLATO EBR is delighted to have both Drilling Pumping Supplies and Scrabo Contracting on board to support the Ards & North Down group.

Attendees were officially welcomed by Director of PLATO EBR, Dr Cecilia Hegarty. Cecilia provided an overview of support participants could expect to receive and encouraged participants to enjoy the newness of their 12-month Programme ahead.  Jane Foreman, group co-ordinator also gave an insight into the actual workings of the PLATO Group.
