Eco-nomic Innovations Ltd.

 

Participant: Jonathan Eves

Eco-nomic Innovations Ltd. works with leading Universities & Technical Colleges globally to commercialise inventions that are good for the environment. The company has a number of Patent applications in Europe, US, Japan and South Korea in diverse industrial areas – domestic boilers and mining/recycling processes. These inventions are to be licensed to leading companies. The company is based in M:Tek 1 in Monaghan and is headed up by Jonathan Eves who has twelve years’ experience in commercial research laboratories complemented by six years practical production experience. During his career in multi-nationals, Jonathan was the R & D Programme Manager for the first of De Beers’ new generation digital diamond sorting machines during their successful commissioning.  He successfully introduced a mineral recovery innovation to the Anglo American Corporation called column flotation.  Jonathan also developed a commercial flowsheet for a process utilising neutron radiography.

Equipped with a deep understanding of their requirements, Swiss are able to assist clients to achieve efficient and effective solutions in particular to identify ways to minimise the environmental impact on site by reducing waste through its cutting services, material ion, and installation process. At Swiss Facades, all projects are embedded with the need to know how cladding products are made, delivered and installed. Swiss involvement is from the early stages, with the architects specification, right through to the installation on site. It is on this basis Swiss aim to continue to have a collaborative approach to understand their clients’ mission, vision and needs, to transform and deliver their ideas into reality.

Down but works in partnership with offices in Mid-Ulster and is practised in financial law both sides of the Border with a recent focus on the financial implications of Brexit of clients. Paul Coyle is the General Manager of Northern Counties Co-operative Enterprises Limited, NCCE and is based in Swatragh, County Derry. As with most co-ops, NCCE has a long history and is now in its 55th year, employing 14 full-time and 20 part-time. The Society was founded in 1963 and on a ten acre site; the business  now consists of a Farm ware Supplies Store, a Livestock Market, an Indoor Auction Centre and a Pottery Supplies business (Ulster Ceramics) all trading in their respective markets. The Vision of the business is to be the leading Farm services provider in the Mid-Ulster Region, consistently adding value for its stakeholders and being recognised by its members, non-members and suppliers as best in the field. The Swisher concept is simplicity itself "We sanitise rest-rooms better and more cost effectively than has been done before".
