Completing his Fine Art studies in 2006 Marc embarked on journey of self-discovery and learning through employment with quarries and within the creative industry in Ireland. The period was extremely rewarding and this hands on approach was to thrust him into a full time career as a practicing sculptor. Today working with a variety of mediums including stone, wood, bog wood, bronze, stainless steel and polystyrene he fuses flawless technical skills with complex design revealing exciting timeless works. Marc recently brought a 1940's Jameson Whiskey design to life from basic images and information. The 9ft Barrel Man sculpture now stands at one of Belfast's most successful bars and restaurant "The Dirty Onion" located within the bustling Cathedral Quarter. He also sculpted one of Ireland’s newest and most popular photographed men, Mr Tatyo in Tayto Parks. He also completed a number of larger public monuments, commercially-driven display works for retailers etc. and privately commissioned small sculptural pieces. Kelly was not long into his career before his work came to the attention of local councils, art agents, galleries and corporate clients in Ireland, the UK and America and the client base is ever growing.
