Building Your Business
Invest NI's Raising Finance Workshops delivered by PLATO EBR Parent Company and Group Leader at FPM

24 April 2013

FPM Partners Ruairi Martin and Michael Farrell are currently delivering Raising Finance Workshops for Invest NI as part of their Access to Finance Strategy.  In order to build and support what is explored within the workshops, Invest NI have launched a new Finance Voucher to help businesses prepare a funding proposal.

Who can Apply for the Voucher:
Manufacturing and tradable services businesses in Northern Ireland with growth potential who can demonstrate:

• Minimum turnover of £150k per annum or have the ability to achieve this within 3 years
• Currently or have the potential to generate export sales of 25% of total turnover or £250k per annum

What is available
The Finance Voucher can be used towards the cost of an external consultant to assist in the preparation of a funding proposal.  Assistance of 49% of the total cost of the assignment is available, up to a maximum grant of £4,000.

Who can undertake this work
Applicants can choose their own consultants but these need to be approved in advance by Invest NI.

How do I Apply
The first call for applications is due to close on the 30 April 2013 and quarterly calls thereafter.  We would recommend that businesses that are interested in availing of the vouchers apply as early as possible as it is likely to be a competitive fund.  An application can be downloaded from: http://www.boostingbusinessni.com/jobs/access-to-finance/

If you require further details or would like to discuss this in further details please contact FPM Partners who are delivering the workshops, Ruairi Martin r.martin@fpmca.com or Michael Farrell m.farrell@fpmca.com for more details.
