Building Your Business
Iconic PLATO Company featured in recent edition of Northern Woman

13 February 2018

Grainne Quinn who is an interior designer by trade and the proprietor of Iconic Interior Design, says she gets inspiration from “lots of different things” when decorating her home. “I’m like a magpie; I love shiny things,” she jokes. “I would describe my style as eclectic and luxurious. I love creating a sense of calm and tranquilly, and I also love texture – as opposed to pattern.”

Grainne and Mark Quinn’s countryside, self-build home is picturesque, unspoilt and a photographer’s dream. Surrounded by nature on all sides and overlooked by the Mournes, this house could certainly be described as a rural retreat.

Grainne has built her business up over the years and has currently opened offices in (Barry) Hillen Architects on the South Promenade, Newcastle. With the construction market on the upswing again, this new collaboration between Hillen and Iconic Interior Design is set to satisfy the growing demand for well-designed but affordable living space.

PLATO wishes Iconic and Hillen all the best in their new collaborative project venture.
