Export Sales & Marketing Academy

Is your business trying to develop export sales? Could you benefit from a highly trained and qualified graduate working on export sales?

Invest NI and the Department for Employment & Learning have done research into the supply of skills needed for exporting, both now and in the future have designed a new Export Sales & Marketing Academy.

Benefits of taking part

If your business is trying to develop export sales this is a fantastic opportunity to have a dedicated graduate focused on selling your product or service overseas (outside of ROI and GB).

Academy specifics

Graduates will be available to commence employment in May 2015 following an extensive recruitment process which will include an eight week export sales training programme during April and May 2015. This recruitment, ion and training will be sponsored and organised by DEL.

Companies with serious export plans will be chosen to participate in this pilot programme. The successful companies will meet the successful graduates at an informal event. The graduates can then apply directly to a company (or companies) for an export project position. The company will interview and recruit a graduate under the company’s own normal employment terms and conditions.

From the beginning of May 2015 the graduate will be employed by the business for a period of up to nine months. It is expected much of this time will be spent in the chosen export market. The company is expected to pay the graduate a salary of at least £12k during this period and pay for any normal business travel and in-market expenses.

Closing date 19th December 2014
