EU Monies available for Developing Partnerships

EU Travel Scheme

InterTradeIreland will reimburse up to £350/€437 to cover travel and accomodation costs incurred when attending relevant Horizon 2020 related events in Europe.  The voucher also covers the cost of attending consortium and negotiation meetings for existing North South partnerships already involved in the funding application process.

By availing of this scheme and attending one of these events you will:

  • Hear directly from the Commission about specific Horizon 2020 calls of interest, including the requirements of the call and liasion with the relevant EC personnel
  • Network with other researchers from across the EU in their respective area with a view to building consortiums
  • Increase your involvement and understanding of European programmes
  • Progress in your application by attending consortium meetings

The requirements are:

  • To be part of a consortium with partners on both sides of the border engaging in the Horizon 2020 application process
  • To submit a completed application form and accept its terms and conditions.
  • To complete a feedback form and a report at the end of the process

How it works?

Choose one of the selected events from the events calendar or identify an appropriate consortium meeting.  

Applicants are asked to fill in all sections of the form and submit the completed application via email to anne.mcminn@intertradeireland.com

2 Assessment & Approval

Your application will be assessed within 5 working days and if approved you will be notified immediately.

3 Getting started

Once approved, you will receive a form to be used to claim travel and accommodation expenses incurred when attending the specified event. (Remember to book travel & accomodation AFTER receiving this notification)

Vouchers and event places are limited so please submit your application early to avoid disappointment.
