An Economic Perspective with Jim Power, 
Chief Economist at Friends First

An overview of economic trends, challenges, forecasts and opportunities.
Jim Power will share his perspective on Budget 2019 and the challenges facing the SME sector in Ireland including Brexit, rising costs, credit availability, labour shortages, currency exchange and interest rates.
Jim previously worked as Chief Economist for Bank of Ireland and Treasury Economist for Allied Irish Banks. He lectures at Dublin City University and UCD’s Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School. Jim is a regular contributor to the Irish Examiner and Sunday Business Post and edits Friends First’s Quarterly Economic Outlook.
