Dundalk Chamber has just launched the Louth Business Awards for 2014.  We hope you will enter your business and you may also wish to nominate other businesses who you feel deserve an award in one of the 14 categories below.  These awards have been a huge success and have been a sell out with 500 people attending on the night. There has been fantastic exposure in the media in the run up to the event and it is now the highlight in the business calendar in Dundalk every year.
 
The aim of the Awards Scheme is to recognise the achievements of companies and individuals in promoting excellent services and products in a top class manner. They also encourage companies large and small to continually improve their business. Even in these tough times many businesses are beating the trend and deserve to be recognized.
 
Companies can nominate themselves or another company in 4 of the 14 categories. These include

*      Best Retail Premises for both exterior and interior visual impact.
*      Special Community Group.
*      Age Friendly Award.
*      Business Growth Award.
*      Best Exporter of the Year Award.
*      Best Pub/ Bar Award.
*      Best Training Initiative.
*      Best Tourist Attraction.
*      Dundalk‚Äôs  Best High Growth SME.
*      Best Use of Internet Technology.
*      Best Marketing Campaign.
*      Best Eating Establishment.
*      Corporate Social Responsibility Award.

The Awards will be presented to the winners at the Chamber Gala Dinner in the Fairways Hotel Dundalk on Saturday 15th November 2014.   There will be 4 finalists in each category. The short listed businesses will be announced on Wednesday the 1st October . This Black Tie event is now one of the highlights in the social calendar in Dundalk with just under 500 attending each year.
 
These awards are a superb opportunity to showcase your business. There will be extensive coverage in the Argus and on the chamber website www.dundalk.ie which got 8000 visits last month.
