Another Coup for PLATO EBR Down Group Member See Sense

Irene McAleese co-founder of See.Sense has scooped a Women in Business Award for Best New Startup (Knowledge Economy) on Thursday night.

See.Sense is an award-winning cycling software and technology company, based in Newtownards, Northern Ireland. Founded in April 2013, See Sense seeks to be a leading global cycling technology company, known for their innovative use of advanced sensor technology. See.Sense was Co-founded by husband and wife team Philip and Irene McAleese. In recent times, the company has won a number of awards such as Seedcorn Regional finalist, Winner of the Electronics category at the INVENT Awards (previously £25K Awards), Breakthrough Company of the Year at the Invest Northern Ireland Propel Awards 2014. See Sense is also one of three NI finalists for Pitch at the Palace 2014. The company was also shortlisted in the Small Business Showcase competition for marketing and PR excellence 2014.
