All-island Meet the Buyer Events

Two Meet the Buyer events will be held during 2014 - Belfast and Dublin. 

As with previous events, these events will bring together public sector buyers and potential suppliers in a mutually supporting and beneficial environment.  It is hoped that they will assist in better preparing potential suppliers in bidding for public sector contracts.  At the same time buyers would be afforded the opportunity to learn of new goods and services that might be relevant to their business needs.

The 2 events are as follows: 

  • Wednesday 22nd October 2014 in the Ramada Hotel, Shaw's Bridge, Belfast
  • Wednesday 12th November 2014 in the CityWest Conference Centre, Citywest, Dublin 24

Why go?

  • Hear from public sector buyers, their procurement process, what they buy and upcoming opportunities,
  • Get your chance to speak with the public sector buyer and portfolio/category managers, 
  • Network with other suppliers to form joint ventures, identify sub-contracting opportunities,
  • Find out about funding opportunities and supports available from the main development agencies across the island.

This year there will also be the opportunity to attend a pre-event for suppliers where you will gain invaluable advice and hints and tips on how to make the most of your day.
